*As of September 2020, the Specialist Services Committee (SSC) is prioritizing spread of QI projects as a key initiative and providing financial resources and staff to carry this work forward. The Spreading Quality Improvement (SQI) initiative is growing thanks to the identified success of QI projects improving areas such as: patient, provider, and family experience and outcomes, staff experience, productivity and efficiency, cost avoidance, cost reduction, and climate. Key partners in this initiative include facility and community-based physicians, health authorities, grassroots community, and the SSC.

Thank you for contributing to this work and helping to lead the way forward in growing these grassroots quality improvement initiatives. We are really looking forward to these conversations and hearing your perspectives. If you have any questions, please reach out to Karen.Phenix@islandhealth.ca directly.
