It is with great regret that I note the passing of Dr. Paul Whelan, the Executive Medical Director for Surgical Services, Ambulatory Care, Diagnostic Access Strategy, Renal, Trauma, and Oncology Services.
In all my dealing with him, Paul was consistently supportive, friendly, realistic and commonsensical. He always demonstrated the highest standards of our profession. He will be missed.
His funeral is to be held on July 4 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Oak Bay, at noon.
