The Legislative Committee would like to invite members of the medical staff to consider joining the committee.There is no limit on the number of members, and this invitation is open to all members of the Medical Staff.
The Legislative Committee is responsible for making recommendations to HAMAC on development, implementation, monitoring and revision of the Medical Staff Rules (MSR). The committee completely revised the rules in 2019 and is now planning to focus on how the rules interact with the clinical practice environment. Meetings are monthly at present and occur the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
The committee is also interested in feedback from medical staff regarding suggested revisions or areas of the MSR currently not working effectively.
