Physicians of the South Island MSA will have received an email inviting them to participate in the 3rd Annual Doctors of BC Health Authority Engagement Survey which seeks to measure interactions and levels of engagement with the health authority in which you work.
The feedback you provide will help Doctors of BC shape programs and policies to support you in your work with health authorities, and is used by the Joint Collaborative Committees to help inform their work. It will also provide us with useful insight into how we can better advocate on your behalf – not only with health authority facilities, but also more broadly in your communities.
The deadline to submit your responses is midnight on Thursday, June 21st, 2018.
The survey is being conducted by Health Standards Organization (HSO), an affiliate of Accreditation Canada. It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete, and your answers are anonymous and confidential. Doctors of BC will not know your individual responses. To allow us to make comparisons and track trends over time, the questions are the same as in previous years.
This year there are two additional features. The first is a Divisions breakdown which will allow us to shed light on trends by community and by each Division of Family Practice. The second is a Medical Leadership category which will enable us to measure and compare the views of front-line physicians and administrative physicians.
You also have the option to enter a draw to win one of two iPad Pros or Surface Pros. To enter you will need to provide your name and email address directly to HSO. Doctors of BC will not have access to your individual responses and HSO will conduct the draw.
If you do not receive the survey, or you have any questions about the survey, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. When results are available, they will be shared with all members and health authorities. To access last year’s Survey Report click here.
