Dips for Docs is a social gathering and connection opportunity for physicians in Victoria and on the South Island, organized by the Victoria and South Island Divisions of Family Practice. We gather monthly — rain, sleet, snow or sun — upon the beaches around Greater Victoria in order to be together, do something fun and courageous, and to celebrate the land, ocean, life and each other! Veteran and new dippers are always welcome, and Dips for Docs swag (t-shirts, tote bags etc) and hot chocolate are always provided. All you need to bring is your bathing suit, a towel, a mug, warm layers, and a spirit of community and adventure! Come as you are, when you can. You (and kids and partners) are always welcome!
March Theme
March marks the arrival of Spring and the rebirth of Life upon the land after the deep slumber of winter. This month’s Dips for Docs theme is Beginnings and we will be honouring this theme as we welcome the cold embrace of the ocean and the warm gathering of friends and colleagues (with hot chocolate!). What does Beginning mean to you? What Beginnings are unfolding in your own life, inside or out? Bring your ideas to share!
