In partnership with the South Island Division of Family Practice, the South Island MSA is striking a Planetary Health Working Group.
We anticipate that meetings (compensated) will be held quarterly, and the collaborative group will investigate ways to bring environmental sustainability to physicians in their specific practice locations (hospital- or community-based), as well as opportunities for all physicians to become more environmentally-minded. The group will define its direction, with support from a small admin team to ensure funding guidelines and deliverables are met.
