In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, we invite you to an informative Facility & Community Engagement Knowledge Sharing webinar with presentations on activities happening around the province aimed at reducing the environmental impact of health care.

  • Dr. Rashmi Chadha – Getting Started: The Vancouver Acute/Vancouver Community (VA/VC) Medical Staff Planetary Health Committee
  • Dr. Ilona Hale – Developing a Guide for Planetary Health in Primary Care – An initiative supported by the East Kootenay Division of Family Practice in partnership with CASCADES
  • Dr. James Wiedrick – Reducing the Environmental Impact of Anesthetic Gases in the OR – Kootenay Lake Hospital
  • Dr. Val Stoynova and Celia Culley, Clinical Pharmacist – Using a Quality Improvement Framework to Decrease Inhaler-related Carbon Footprint at Hospitals in Island Health, supported by South Island MSA & CASCADES

This is a unique opportunity to hear about new project ideas, connect with peers, and share learnings from across Medical Staff Associations and Divisions of Family Practice.

Presentations will be peer lead and facilitated by the Facility Engagement Team at Doctors of BC.

This session will be recorded and shared with attendees and their MSA executive/working group members as well as Divisions of Family Practice.
